Quality Family Time

This Thanksgiving was all about quality family time! My hubby, son and I have been spending quite a bit of time at my parent's this year since my hubby has started hunting. We spent all last weekend and then Wednesday through Friday evening up there too! This is the first Thanksgiving in a long time that my immediate family has all been under one roof for Thanksgiving! My brother was home, my sister and her boyfriend and of course my family and my mom and dad. It was so relaxing and a lot of fun to have us all home! We had a few beverages, watched the Lions lose (as usual) and had some good laughs.

My mom and I ventured out on Black Friday..but not until the crowds had pretty much dissapated...we were out for 3 hours and hit a few stores. It was fun to be out with her just the two of us...we don't get that very often now that I have my son...she usually is watching him or just wanting to spend every moment with him.

Today we are cleaning our house, putting up the tree and watching SpiderMan 3! Exciting stuff!

Hi, Amy! I'm glad you are having a quiet weekend! Isn't it nice to just relax and enjoy?

I'm toying with putting up our tree this afternoon. I really like to take it down right after Christmas, so putting it up early is a good idea.

Let's hope our re-entry into school tomorrow is smooth, and just as quiet! .

Tree's up

We put our tree up today too. The only problem was, we only got the tree up and the lights on. I decided to wait until tomorrow to put the ornaments on because I was so tired after getting the tree up.
I still have to finish lesson plans and grade papers. Back to the rugrat race tomorrow.
