reading and writing websites

Hi...Does anyone have any website suggestions for reading and writing that are more advanced than starfall? I am looking for students reading grades 2-4...where there are games, activties, etc...

I recall one website where the kids could write a story online!

For reading

I love www.raz-kids.com

It is part of the Reading AtoZ website and is wonderful. You can create assignments so you can place students at their reading level. Each level has a number of on-line stories the students read and then answer questions for.

The teacher can print out reports, etc.,

There is a yearly fee but I think it's reasonable. My students love going to the site and doing their reading.
