Scholastic - September

The scholastic book club catalog for September is now online. Frindle is $1, and if you spend $20 you get $20 free. For twenty bucks I got 30 copies of Frindle, and the two Wimpy Kid books! If you don't already have them, buy Diary of a Wimpy Kid (Jeff Kinney) and the sequel - 5th grade boys LOVE them!
The catalog code is: A1web0

Yes! I was going to post this, too! I have wanted a class set of Frindle for a long time, but it is always too expensive. I have been looking for copies on Ebay. I have seen sets of 6 used copies going for $20.00!<!--eyebrow-->

ebay

I watch ebay too...and you'll see a lot of Frindle class sets auctioned soon, because the $1 Scholastic books always end up on ebay - selling for a lot more than a buck each!!!!

frusterated with scholastic

I'm a new teacher and I can't figure out how to order the deal for Frindle. I have a username and password, but it asks for a code that is on the back of my catalog, which I don't have yet. Do I have to wait for the paper copy to arrive before I can place an order with a code?
Thanks :)

You do need the catalog (paper copy) code to order because they have several different book clubs. Someone posted in a previous message that the Catalog code is A1web0 so you should be able to use that and order.

I can get the catalog to open using the catalog code, but nothing comes up about spending $20 and getting $20 free. Is there a coupon code for this? And, if so, would someone please share? I'm new to 5th and I'm not receiving the new catalogs yet. Thanks!

20 for 20

try selecting $20 worth of books first, then it should come up. I didn't notice the deal until I had already ordered books.
