At my school we do a variety of things during Math month. We have family math night, daily math problems, wear a number day, etc. I am trying to come up with a one day schoolwide activity that every student can participate in. For example, last year I told every student to come to school on a specific day wearing a tshirt with one of five colors. Then we made a schoolwide human bar graph. The kids loved it. This year I would like to do something similar that will get the kids just as excited. Any suggestions?

Schoolwide activity for Math Month
great idea!
I love the idea of Math Month, whether it's whole school or just your grade level or even your class. The "be a number" idea sounds like fun, as does the human bar graph. Maybe have everyone in the school be art of a wave and time it? Have kids line up in age order? Graph everyone's birthday to see if there are duplicate days? I'd love to see what other people come up with.
