shared/read-think alouds

I teach 1st grade. And I was wondering if teachers should teach shared reading/ read-think alouds everyday, or should they teach a couple days read-think alouds and couple days shared etc.?????


I learned in one district you should do both. This new dist. is diff. Lost...;/
What are your thoughts?

Everyday!

As much as you can read aloud and model your thinking, the more you will teach your students how to do so.
