Six-traits workshop from BER - worth it?

I have received a flyer on a workshop from BER about "Six-traits" writing strategies taught by Jaci Cobian. I was wondering if anyone has taken this workshop and if it's worth the $$.

Thanks... one more thing... about Open Court?

Thanks for the info. I neglected to state in my earlier post that I am wondering how it will work with our district's strict use of the Open Court Reading system. Does anyone know if/how they will work together?
