We got in the car around 3 to head down the road to a friend's house and what a surprise it was!!! They were HUGE!

Unbelievable! Monday I was wearing shorts and had the AC on. It NEVER snows around Turkey day here in north TX! <!--thanksgiving1-->

Anyone else in DFW get some? We are in north FW.

I can't believe

it is snowing there! We were just at DFW this weekend and it was near 80.

We are from Louisiana. It was 84 here yesterday. Today, the high was 54!

Crazy

I know my hubby said it was snowing and I thought he was kidding. :p I hate when it changes over from summer to winter and skips fall. ;) Next week it is supposed to be back in the high 60's though.

You get any scrappin' done over the holidays? I got 3 pages done before I had to put it up for Thanksgiving. I will probably get it back out tomorrow, unless I try to brave shopping.

Scrappin'

No I wish I could, but DH had back surgery last FRI. My mom stayed until MON to help out with the kids. He isn't supposed to lift anything heavier than a gallon of milk for a while. I guess that puts my things on the back burner for a while... :(

On the other hand I haven't had to get the 3 year old milk in about a week! I figure if that is the one thing he can do then THAT is what he will do!!!

I have already asked him what does mommy get to do over Christmas break as he should be over this by then! :D

The good news is that we think it fixed his problems with his legs. Just the incision site and the no bending is kind of hard for now.

Nothing here...

I'm about 40 miles south of DFW and we got nothing but cold! I must be just to the east of the "freeze line."

I was shocked when I heard the weather at 5:00 and they were saying snow in Weatherford and Mineral Wells!

My A/C was on this morning (still on from yesterday) - about 6:00 tonight I have to cave in and turn on the heat... at the moment it's just above freezing here (35F).

Sorry to hear about your hubby and his back surgery. Hubby threw his out a year ago and thank goodness didn't require surgery. Hope he heals soon, and you can scrap!

One nice thing about the weather is we got to light up the fireplace today during our Thanksgiving dinner. <!--thanksgiving1-->
