Well I've been home 3 days saw my dr. and have lots of good medicines.
Glad I stayed home. Hoping to go back tomorrow. The best part was they had the same sub in for me all 3 days and he's good. (My kids may not want me back ) the guy that is in for me was a student when I was subbing and graduated with my daughter.

He's home grown. Went to school here and his mom is an elementary teacher in the district.

went back today

It was a little tough but I got through it. Today is my long day I have a prep 1st thing in the morning then nothing all day. But the 3 crowns and all the get well cards gave me the energy to make it through.
I have one little boy that came after Halloween, I've been having trouble making a connection and having him feel comfortable fitting in, he came up to me at the end of the day and whispered "welcome back mrs. b" . Made me want to cry.
Tomorrow is my good day as far as special go

Thursdays are awful! Special from 9:45-10:15 and thats it!!!!!!!!!

Fridays are WONDERFUL! One special in the morning and one in the afternoon. I get sooo much planning/prep done for next week--and I already handed in my lesson plans, so I'm ahead of the game!
