I am so excited to start student teaching in K! I am just finishing up student teaching 6th graders. I will graduate with a degree in eled and early childhood, so I finally get to be where I want to be!
Do you have any pointers for K? I can't wait to find out what my unit is.

Here are some things to help you!!

Teaching in K is awesome!! I am student teaching in there now. You should make sure that you have various forms of behavior management techniques to help motivate them to stay quiet. Also, when you plan your lessons make sure that you don't have the students sitting too long; I know from experience that it doesn't go over well. Also, implementing songs and hands-on activites in your lessons will really keep the students on task. Hope that this helps you out some!!
