Subbing for the Secretary!

Boy I had a Busy day Friday. I subbed all day for the primary secretary! She'd asked me a earlier in the week if i'd sub for her and since I'd never Subbed for that before I thought i'd be a change of pace. It was a lot of Fun to get out of the classroom but Man I wrote so many Tardy slips and bus passes my hand was cramping lol. Plus we had our Thanksgiving dinner at school and SOOOO many parents came to eat with their kids. It was so busy almost all day. but it was fun! I would happily sub for her again.

I covered the office one day for an hour. When it was over I felt as if I had been in there all day and I was asking to be sent to extended day Kindergarten! I didn't even like regular kindergarten then! I think the secretary's job is the hardest in the school!

I subbed for the secretary for about an hour as well. During that time, I got a call from the police, and we were placed on lockdown. It was nerveracking!

I bet now you can understand why so many secretaries seem to be grumpy!

Thankfully our Sect is usually pretty sweet. but I can honestly say that if she Was grumpy i'd certainly understand. lol. It was SOO nerve wracking when the Phone was ringing and parents were standing there AND the intercom was going off all at the same time! yikes!!
