Don't know what that is, but we have a team teacher who is often called out to sub. They don't ever call out the dean, reading spec., or "mentor" (what a joke!) I think that it's awful that this one teacher has to sub for others. It is clearly not her job and even I am sick of it.
Are you a teacher on contract? Do you belong to the union?
Some of our teachers were getting pulled to sub frequently. Some of them went to the union and complained. It turns out that it was not legal in this state to be pulling teachers paid with grant funds.
The union and the school department signed a memorandum of understanding. Teachers cannot now be asked to sub unless the principal is already subbing. Teacher assistants can refuse to be the classroom teacher. Suddenly they are finding more subs as principals do not want to sub.
