Summer math resources for students

I want to send math kits home with each student this summer so that they hopefully will not forget all of the skills they've learned this year. I've ordered manipulatives to put in the kits but don't have any math activities to go along with them. Any ideas?

You know what you do...

Why don't you just type up a list of activities that you do in class? Or format it in a calendar.

Or, if your curriculumn has workbooks, send home the completed workbook and request that parents redo some of the activities that their child struggled with during the year.

sounds like a great idea! I'm curious tho-for which grades & what manipulatives did you include? also what did you end up with for activities/workbooks? the ideas of calendar format/familar school activities sounded good :-)
