Teaching the Forgotten War

I am teaching American History to 8th Graders. We recently studied the War of 1812. Many of the students had never heard of this war but when we were finished with this chapter in history they were so enlightened by what they had learned. I highly recommend that we continue to utilize the tools (world wide web) that are available to teach our children about "Forgotten War". My students wrote the most powerful essays about this war.
