Hello Fellow Teachers,
How is the job market in Texas? My husband and I are moving to Dallas and I wanted to know if there are any Texas Teachers out there.
Any helpful advice???

I am in Texas, but nowhere near Dallas. The job market varies greatly in our state depending on where you are located. I would check with the education service center in the Dallas area. They should be able to tell you what the job market is like there. The link is:

I live in Texas.

I live in Texas and I am also a student teacher. I live north of the DFW (Dallas Fort Worth) area but I have seen many jobs posted on various sites looking for teachers in Dallas, especially bilingual.
If I can answer any other questions just let me know!

Southside of Dallas

Hey I live on the south side of Dallas. I'm a student teacher just about to graduate in May. Out of about 6 districts that I'm interested in, only 2 actually have openings listed. I still haven't heard from any that I applied to and I don't have any fingernails left to bite.
