Okay, so on Friday evening I took some items to drop off at my bosses house. She kept asking me what my plans were? I told her nothing. That's her way of asking me to stay. So, I did. Then one of my co-workers came. We all ended up drinking because she offered us some beer. I only had one. I was good. They both had more than 3, any ways they then decided to vent. Then the truth comes out! It seems that my boss beats around the bush until she drinks. Then the truth comes out. I don't know what to do. There is so much I would like to tell her, but don't want to get fired! I teach Preschool. She likes to play head games. She told another co-worker that we have to demand something if we want it. I'm not that type of person! I mean, who goes up to boss and demands a raise??? I'm going insaine with all head games and no truth until she drinks!

By boss, do you mean Principal? Your whole scenerio seems a bit inappropriate to me. What did you need to drop off on a Friday evening that couldn't wait until Monday morning? Excuse me in advance if I sound critical; my Principal is an elderly "old school" type of person and I can't imagine going to her house!

I'm not exactly sure what happened here. Your boss (principal?) told you to demand a raise if you want one? That's what I was able to gather from your post. I've asked for a raise before, and it worked. I didn't demand, though. If your boss was drunk, I don't think I would follow the advice.

Okay, I work at a Preschool and the owner as you can tell by my post is very interesting. Some times I think that she gets lonely. There's nothing really professional about her business, as you can also tell by my post. When I go to work it's Her World of Drama. You never know, she could be pumping you for info. when she offers you a beer or more. I really wish that I could be paid the same and work for a professional Preschool. She befriends all her employees, she has 11 in all. She has two different sites. I have never gotten her. She's just the drama queen, don't know. She's always asking her employees to bring stuff to her, like she can't get off her tush and do it herself!!
