The "Just another shooting" post got me thinking. What do you think of this?

I had a student (not nice at all) ask another person about shooting someone and how to kill them.

That was dismissed as he thought of the other person as a grandpa figure since he didn't have one. Something is wrong with this in my mind.

He turned around and then told everyone at his table he knew how to kill someone using a gun.

Later he wrote I want to kill you notes to celebrities (he did this at school).

Yet still nothing has been done. What do you think of all of this?

wow...if you've told your principal and nothing has happened, I think I'd call the school psycholotist or the district office and let someone know. this kid needs help! and your other students need protection-just from the talk and thoughts. scary!

Call up the chain on this one. District office, union, whoever. If nothing else, the thought of explaining to the cops why death threats to Ms. Diva Popstar were written on the back of their school stationary should get them moving.

Not appropriate, and the notion that asking for killing people tips is a way of showing affection to a grandpa figure is deeply weird.

What ended up happening with the boy?

I just saw your post from last year about the boy saying he wanted and knew how to kill someone. What ended up happening in that case?
