Update and some news

A few months ago I wrote about some issues DH and I were having in the intimacy department. I got some wonderful advice, awesome book recommendations, and a ton of support. DH and I sat down and had some long conversations. Things are going much better. The lines of communication have been opened and although still not the most comfortable topic of conversation for me, we are on a much better path.

As for having a baby, we decided to take the advice given and wait awhile. Well, so much for that. I took a test and found out I am PREGNANT!!! We are both very excited! Nobody knows yet except for 2 close coworkers, but I couldn't wait to share the news with someone.

Congratulations on both counts! Here is my unsolicited advice- continue to work on your relationship. Having a baby will change your family dynamics mostly for the better but you and DH will have less time for each other. If you both agree and work to make your relationship,a priority it really helps.
