Use for BB Tree?

I have come across a nice bulletin board tree that is quite large, actually too large to fit withins the confines of a BB, although I could just hot glue it to a wall. However, I'm not really sure what I could do with it. It's a really nice tree, but what good is just a tree on the wall? I've heard several teachers say how much they love their tree. Do any of you have any good ideas??? Thanks!!!

Can you hang student work from the branches? If you hang poems off it it could be your "poet-tree".

You could choose a character trait to highlight each month... i.e. empathy, responsibility, etc.... and have the kids write how they might behave accordingly. These short writings could be copied onto a theme die-cuts (pumpkins for October) and hung from the tree. I even add stickers to the backs of the writings when I see individuals displaying the trait of the month.

I let students write the name of chapter books they have read and we watch the tree GROW. I use different color leaves for the seasons; red, yellow & orange for autumn, green for spring and summer, and white for snow in winter. I also use a book report form and put them in alphabetical order so other students can read it and see if they would like that book or not.
