word analysis

Can someone direct me to resources (internet or book) that has strategies to practice word analysis with my students? I teach in Tennessee and we take the Terra Nova test. Word analysis makes up a large part of the reading test, and I know it can be very tricky. An example of what I am talking about is as follows:

Find the word with the same middle sound as measure.

a) mean
b) ready
c) great
d) please

I would be interested in what you find. My students have to take a test every other week and that is one thing that they struggle with. I have been just making up my own test which is time consuming. I hope someone knows of something!
